Shopee Thailand Infant Formula Data Set – April 2024
This guide covers the April 12, 2024 Shopee Thailand infant formula snapshot in the current download email. The Thailand folder contains two Excel exports labelled popular and best_selling. Together they contain 1,530 rows but 1,163 distinct shop/product pairs from 377 shop IDs. Row totals should not be reported as a count of unique products.
Thailand file coverage
| Market and snapshot | Files and distinct listings |
|---|---|
| Thailand · April 12, 2024 · THB |
popular: 1,030 data rows and 940 distinct shop/product pairs, including 90 repeated-pair rows. best_selling: 500 data rows and 500 distinct pairs. Across the two files, 277 pairs overlap; combined coverage is 1,163 distinct pairs. |
Every row in these two files uses country Thailand, currency THB, and updateTime value 4/12/2024; the filenames also carry 12-04-2024. These identify the April 12 snapshot. They do not establish monthly sales totals. A listing is counted here by the combination of shopId and itemId.
Fields you can inspect
Both files have one worksheet and the same 23 columns:
-
Search and listing:
keyword,localizedKeyword,name,url, andimageUrl. -
Market and identifiers:
country,currency,updateTime,itemId,shopId, andbrand. -
Recorded counters:
stock,sold,historySold,rating_count, andrating. -
Recorded prices:
price,price_before_discount,discountPercent,price_min,price_max,price_min_before_discount, andprice_max_before_discount.
Combining the exports without double counting
Preserve the original workbooks and analyse copies. Add the source filename to each row before combining the two files. Group by shop/product pair, review repeated observations for differences, and document which observation you retain for each measure. The 367 rows beyond the 1,163 distinct pairs include both within-file repetition and overlap between files; removing only exact duplicate rows may produce a different count.
Use names and URLs to verify pack sizes and variants before comparing prices. These are keyword-based listing exports, not a verified census of all infant formula sold in Thailand. The filenames’ sort labels do not prove sales rank, and the workbooks do not define the reporting windows behind sold or historySold. The recorded stock field is not independently verified warehouse inventory.
Other countries in the delivery email
The same form is also used by the May 2024 Infant Formula guide. Its email includes Vietnam and Singapore folders, but those files are dated May 19 and May 18 respectively. Use the Thailand folder for this April guide; do not treat all three countries as a synchronized April snapshot.
The counts and fields above were checked against the complete Thailand files linked by the published email. This check confirms file contents, not complete marketplace coverage. For a different market, date, or repeat collection, specify your requirements through our Shopee data scraping service.
